Campaign Monitor is seeking a Director of Growth & Experimentation to lead a team responsible for the continued advancement of the organization through site optimization, paid media testing, content testing, and more. This role will work closely across marketing and other departments as the subject matter expert to assist with all testing & experimentation strategies leading to increased conversion & growth. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in digital and paid media testing (A/B, multivariate, incrementality, etc.), and in developing data-driven, value-add analytical storytelling. In addition, this leader will have experience creating and nurturing a culture of growth across departments and organizations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and communicate the testing roadmap including site and paid media conversion optimization
  • Oversee test development, measurement, analysis, and communication centered around a common testing strategy
  • Working with the analytics team, develop relevant site metrics and KPIs to evaluate funnel performance and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Analyze performance of the website and digital campaigns through the customer journey
  • Size and prioritize areas for opportunity
  • Constantly iterate and deploy tests for continuous improvement of the customer experience, conversion, and other business results
  • Communicate the testing roadmap, outcomes, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders across the organization
  • Establish and refine the current strategy and methodologies to ensure continued evolution of site optimization and paid media testing best practices
  • Build relationships with external organizations to share testing best practices and proven concepts to further enhance our knowledge and capabilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow team members responsible for growth & experimentation insights to continue to advance the organization

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a testing, optimization, and analytics function based on digital experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required; advanced degree preferred
  • Must have at least 5 years hands-on experience with digital testing and optimization activities and 3 years leading high performing teams focused on growth
  • Proven expert in planning, executing, and measuring performance of A/B, multivariate, incrementality, and other tests
  • Experience implementing and using analytics, testing and personalization platforms (preferably experience with Google Analytics & Optimizely)
  • Experience mentoring and coaching direct reports in delivering high quality, accurate, and methodologically consistent results
  • Ability to clearly translate technical data into a framework and >
  • Ability to clearly communicate and persuasively present data and conclusions in an organized manner to a wide variety of audiences, up to and including Executive management
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence team members and business counterparts
